First of all, I took a spill off my bike on the way down RL. Yes, even pros tip over sometimes. I wasn't going fast and I landed in cushion of wet leaves. The only thing I had to show for it was a baby slug stuck my leg. Oh yeah, and the neighbor witnessed it!
Then:
- a heard of "free range" goats (like 20 of them) crossed the road in front of me on Albany Post. At first I thought they were wild dogs because they were all different shapes and sizes and colors.
- I saw 2 huge black birds snoozing in at the top of an apple tree in the orchard. That was after I saw the goats/dogs, so maybe i was imagining them or maybe they were just part of the tree.
- my neighbor's house is being torn down with an excavator.
- I got stopped by a car driving up rose lane and asked if I lived there. I said yes and was handed a flyer and told about a meeting in newburgh about the bible. Glanced down at the paper and saw that it was the J'ho's. Good thing, they turned around and didn't go up any further. Guess they thought there was only one house on the street.
Maybe my swim will be less eventful!
