Thunder

Last night we had a SEVERE thunderstorm in NP.  I can only imagine it was like the one in NYC last week that I slept through.  I didn't sleep through this one though because we had the windows wide open and I think the extremely loud thunder might have echoed off the pond.  Of course, there was also a tremendous amount of rain which caused the "little trickle of stream" to turn into a raging stream.  Now the waterfall is really going.  

We were lucky that the storm held off and we had perfect weather all weekend.  I spent most of the afternoon outside yesterday with a combination session of training.  Rode my bike to the track/did a track workout/rode around until the pool opened/went for a swim/rode home.  Note that I didn't break the no driving to town on the weekends rule!!
